About me
Claire Bryant (nee Wylde) qualified in 2007 from the University of Surrey with a First Class Honours degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, following training at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
After qualifying as a dietitian, she worked with the Harlequins Rugby Club, predominantly looking at nutritional impact on performance and training. Thereafter, she began a junior post at the West Middlesex University hospital working within gastroenterology and nutrition support for adults. She progressed within her career and currently works as a senior dietitian, specialising in paediatric nutrition.
Alongside this, Claire worked for The Priory Hospital, London, with both adolescents and adults suffering with chronic eating disorders as well as obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD). She worked there for 8 years. She is also a consultant working for BMI Healthcare offering private clinics in south west London and Surrey.
She has advised as a specialist dietitian as part of a team of experts for a UK Sky1 TV documentary on weight management. Further to this, she was also involved in an expert team for Sudocrem “Mummy Matters forum”. She has consulted for Heat Magazine, Sunday Express S Magazine, Look Magazine as well as Spabreaks.com.
She is a fully registered dietitian, with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Through such memberships she maintain a high standard of continuing professional development and has participated successfully in HCPC audits. She is also a member of The British Dietetic Association (BDA), with special interest in the Neonatal group and the North West London Gastroenterology Group.
