About me
Dr Christopher Scott is a specialist in the field of Sexual Health and HIV Medicine. He was appointed as Consultant Physician at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2010.
Christopher works as Genitourinary Medicine physician within the NHS and privately. He is expert in all aspects of acute and chronic sexual health management. This includes sexual health infection screening and treatment in men and women, male genital dermatoses, the management of chronic sexual health problems including erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Scott has extensive experience in managing all aspects of HIV infection, AIDS and antiretroviral therapy. He is part of a team providing care for the largest cohort of HIV positive patients in Western Europe and has lectured extensively within the UK and internationally.
Dr Scott has developed a specialist interest in high resolution anoscopy (HRA) which is used to screen for the precursor to anal cancer. A condition called AIN. He has over 15 years of experience using HRA has been the clinical lead for Anoscopy within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He is also a member of the Chelsea Anal Neoplasia Service offering laser ablation for treatment of AIN.
Christopher has been involved as a Co-investigator on multiple Phase 3 clinical trials on antiretroviral medications.
