About me

Dr Christopher Scott is a Consultant Physician in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine, appointed at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2010. He practices across both NHS and private sectors, providing expert, confidential care in all aspects of sexual health and complex HIV management.

Dr Scott is highly experienced in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections in men and women, with particular expertise in male genital dermatology and the management of chronic sexual health concerns including persistent genital and pelvic symptoms.

He has extensive experience in managing HIV infection from acute diagnosis through to complex, treatment-experienced cases, including optimisation of antiretroviral therapy. He provides care at one of the largest HIV centres in Western Europe and has lectured nationally and internationally within the field.

With over 15 years of specialist expertise in high resolution anoscopy (HRA), Dr Scott is a recognised leader in the screening and management of anal intraepithelial neoplasia (AIN), the precursor to anal cancer. He has served as Clinical Lead for Anoscopy at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and works as part of the Chelsea Anal Neoplasia Service, offering laser ablation for AIN where appropriate.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Scott has been a Co-investigator on multiple Phase 3 clinical trials evaluating new antiretroviral therapies, contributing to advances in HIV treatment globally.
