About me

Dr Kang is a Responsible Clinician and Consultant Psychiatrist at Nightingale Hospital in London. She holds her private practice clinics at Nightingale Hospital, London. Her clinical specialities include Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Affective Disorder (Manic Depression), Anxiety Disorders, Psychosis, schizophrenia, Adult ADHD, behavioural addictions and stress related disorders.
She also has a special interest in Spirituality and Mental Health, Medically Unexplained Symptoms and mental disorders related to chronic physical health problems. She can carry out assessments in both English and Hindi.

Passionate about reducing stigma around mental health problems, Dr Kang presented a weekly mental health and disability radio show with the BBC called Shrink Wrapped for three years. She regularly features as an expert in print, radio, TV and online media.
For 2 consecutive years, she was a finalist for the Royal College of Psychiatrists Public Educator of the year Award. She also sits on the Executive Committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Special interest group for Spirituality and Psychiatry and served for 4 years on the Royal College of Psychiatrists Public Engagement Editorial Board.
