About me

In addition to my specialist orthopaedic training I have completed both national and internationally recognised subspecialty fellowships in hip and knee replacement surgery (Brisbane, Australia) as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee.
My interests include primary, complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements and arthroscopic knee surgery.

I perform cemented and uncemented joint replacements as well as partial knee replacements. During my fellowships I gained extensive experience in revision (re-do) surgery and in computer aided knee surgery. I also utilise custom made patient specific shape matched technology for knee replacements where appropriate.

I maintain a full trauma commitment as part of my NHS practice with an interest in periprosthetic fracture management.
I am currently Elective Orthopaedic Surgery Lead with an interest in improving theatre safety and efficiency.
