About me
I completed my undergraduate training in medicine at Cambridge University (Gonville and Caius College) in 1997 and later graduated from clinical school at Oxford University in 2000. After completing my junior doctor training, I undertook my specialist training in Cardiology in Cambridge before completing a period of post-graduate clinical research for I was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (DM) from Oxford University in 2010. I then completed an 18-month Electrophysiology Fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, one of the world’s leading centres in cardiac electrophysiology.
I have worked as a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in arrhythmias at Royal Papworth Hospital since 2012. I am now Clinical Lead for Cardiac Rhythm Management at Royal Papworth Hospital and treat patients both here and the Cambridge Nuffield Hospital
Areas of interest
I am a Consultant Cardiologist and I specialise in the comprehensive management of all cardiac arrhythmias, notably atrial fibrillation and other SVTs, incorporating treatment with medication and ablation. I also specialise in the implantation and management of cardiac implantable electronic devices (pacemakers, ICDs and resynchronisation pacemakers)
