About me
Having qualified as a doctor from the medical school of St Bartholomew's Hospital, I was trained in cardiac surgery first at the Royal Brompton Hospital, and then at Royal Papworth Hospital, with a fellowship in St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. Since being appointed a consultant in 2010 I have developed my interest in aortic surgery, and lead the largest aortic programme in the UK. I routinely perform minimally invasive surgery for valve disease and bypass grafting, and have an international reputation in aortic surgery.
