About me

I have a Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork using a cognitive behavioural approach, and a degree in physiology and biochemistry. I am accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, the lead organisation for CBT in the UK.
I have completed the full four part training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) with EMDR works ltd. www.emdrworks.org This training is only open to those who are fully accredited with their own professional body.
Experience
I have counselled adults with a range of problems, in a variety of settings. I have a particular interest and experience with clients who have experienced trauma; depression; stress and anxiety. I was a volunteer counsellor with the Post Natal Depression Service for ten years.
