About me
My specialist registrar training was in the South East Scotland Deanery following which I spent a fellowship year in Brisbane Australia working at the Holy Spirit Northside and Prince Charles Hospitals. During this year I gained expertise in lower limb joint replacement of the hip and knee with a particular interest in computer assisted surgery.
As a consultant I have been heavily involved with the teaching of other surgeons and am a regular faculty member on instructional cadaveric hip and knee replacement courses.
I specialise in hip and knee replacement including partial knee replacement, complex primary hip replacement for conditions such as developmental dysplasia (DDH) and revision hip and knee replacement.
From April 2017 I have started performing robotically assisted partial knee and hip replacements at the Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Edinburgh.
