About me

Mr.Dhanasekar has had excellent training in all aspects of ENT in the West Midlands Specialist Registrar training scheme including thyroid surgery. His other ENT jobs have been across the length and breadth of the UK including Portsmouth, Leicester, Derby, Stevenage, Huddersfield, Basingstoke & Wigan before settling down in the Birmingham rotation including the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

He also undertook a Rhinology/Facial Plastics fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham under Prof. Nick Jones & Anshul Sama. He has also been on a few travelling fellowships to visit eminent Rhinology/Facial Plastics surgeons in Portland-USA, Amsterdam and Zurich.

Personal interests

I recognise the need for a healthy balance between my work and personal life.
I play cricket and have represented my school and college teams. I enjoy travelling & shopping!
Cars are my other passion and I go on track days.
I rejuvenate myself by going to the gym.
I practice Taekwondo and am a Black Belt and currently a 2nd Dan.
I also do yoga regularly.
