About me
Mr Vivek Dhukaram is a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. He has extensive experience in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery with special interest in sports injuries, deformity correction and key hole surgery.
Mr Dhukaram was trained and accredited as an Orthopaedic surgeon from South Trent training scheme. He undertook advanced fellowship training from renowned foot & ankle centres - Nottingham and RNOH Stanmore.
He has set up the specialist foot and ankle service at University hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS trust and continues to develop. His surgical practice include modern hallux valgus (bunion) surgery, lesser toe surgery, arthroscopic procedures of ankle, subtalar, big toe joints including arthroscopic guided joint fusions, ankle replacement, toe joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, midfoot & hindfoot deformity correction and fusions, rheumatoid foot surgery, diabetic foot surgery, tendon transfers, tendon reconstruction, foot & ankle fracture fixation and revision surgery for previous unsuccessful procedures from other surgical units.
