About me
Ms Veronica Djapardy is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician and has excellent all round training. Having attended medical school at Oxford University, she then trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in some of the best units in the country such as John Radcliffe Hospital and Queen Charlotte's Hospital in London. In addition, she worked in the National University Hospital in Singapore in the largest gynae-oncology centre, which services the whole of South East Asia. She has been a consultant at the NHS for 3.5 years, and in that time she has developed an excellent reputation as a conscientious doctor and with a safe pair of hands. She was a Unit Training Director of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital in charge of Junior doctors training. She is now a Substantive Consultant at Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital, a Maternity teaching hospital part of Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust
Her main interest in obstetrics and gynaecology is minimal access surgery, menstrual disorders, family planning, cervical screening and colposcopy as well as Menopause Care. She is an accredited Specialist by British Menopause Society.
Dr Djapardy is a competent surgeon, both open surgery, as well as minimal access surgery ( laparoscopic and hysteroscopic)
Her main philosophy is of patient-centred care. She believes that it is very important to address patient's concerns, rather than just addressing the pathology that has been discovered. Her aim is to provide a holistic approach to Women's Health and she believes she has much to learn from the patients she treats.
