About me

I was educated at Methodist College Belfast and Leeds University of Medicine where I acquired the prestigious 'Medical Research Council/ Royal College of Surgeons' grant for research into Colorectal Cancer, for which I was awarded a PhD.
My NHS practice is in Colorectal and General Surgery at the Whittington Health NHS Hospital and University College London Hospital (UCLH). I also practice privately at The London Clinic and OneWelbeck Hospitals. I specialise in out-patient, emergency and surgical management of all Colorectal and General Surgical conditions including keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery; colon, rectal and anal cancer; abdominal/groin hernia; gallstones; rectal bleeding; anal fissure; haemorrhoids; + FIT test investigation; colonoscopy; inflammatory bowel disease- IBD (Crohn's disease; ulcerative colitis), diverticular disease; anal fistula; appendicitis; appendiceal tumours; pancreatitis; Medicolegal expert opinion in General and Colorectal complaints.
