About me

I am an experienced Consultant Rheumatologist with particular experience in the connective tissue diseases such as lupus and vasculitis. I deal with inflammatory rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis as well as gout and soft tissue rheumatic disorders. I have wide experience in relation to pain management with regard to rheumatic disorders. I also deal with metabolic bone disease including osteoporosis. I was previously director of studies at the University of Bath on a master's course in rheumatology and have published research of international significance, particularly relating to lupus and pregnancy.
