About me
Mr Panamoottil Anil Kumar is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at King’s College hospital, Denmark Hill site. He has extensive experience in the field and accepts tertiary referrals of complex cases. His special interest in elective orthopaedic surgery include arthroscopic knee surgery including ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair or excision, surgery of the articular cartilage, chondrotissue grafting, High tibial osteotomy, femoral osteotomy,total knee replacement, uni-compartmental knee replacement, revision knee replacements, total hip replacement and revision of total hip replacement. Mr Anil Kumar also deals with complex trauma including pelvic and acetabular trauma reconstructions. Mr Anil Kumar established the pelvic and acetabular reconstruction service at King’s College Hospital.
Mr Anil Kumar qualified in 1990 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998. Mr Anil Kumar completed his higher surgical training in orthopaedics at King’s College Hospital and St George’s Hospital, London. Mr Anil Kumar is fellowship trained in knee disorders, hip disorders and pelvic and acetabular trauma. Mr Anil Kumar has various presentations in local, national and international meetings. He is actively involved in the teaching and training of medical students, junior doctors and specialist registrars. He is a faculty member of King’s FRCS Orth course.
Mr Anil Kumar keeps up to date and practice modern advanced techniques. He provide patient centred, individualised treatment.
