About me

I am an Accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MBACP Accred) with over 24 years' clinical experience supporting adults and young people aged 14+. My approach is warm, steady and relational, offering a confidential space to explore what is happening at a pace that feels manageable and grounded.

I work integratively, drawing from person?centred therapy, CBT?informed work, hypno-psychotherapy, NLP?informed approaches, Transactional Analysis, trauma?aware stabilisation, and mind?body awareness. This allows me to tailor therapy to each client's needs, communication style and therapeutic goals.

I have extensive experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, workplace pressure, low mood, loss, life transitions and neurodiversity?related challenges. I also have a strong background in working with clients in high?stress and frontline roles, including emergency services personnel.

My professional background includes private practice, GP surgeries, FE/HE settings, EAP work, and managing a counselling service. I also provide clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, supporting reflective practice, ethical decision?making and professional development.
