About me
I am a Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health Care and Professions Council.
I provide evidenced based assessment and treatment including CBT and systemic/family therapy. I use a variety of therapeutic models tailored to each individual and family need.
For many years, I worked as a senior Psychologist in the NHS in specialist services for Ageing and Mental Health.
My practice is now full time in the private sector where I see individuals, couples and families across the lifespan.
My expertise includes working with people experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, bereavement and loss, carer stress, chronic illness, stress at work, cognitive impairment and issues associated with interpersonal relationship difficulties.
In addition, my specialist knowledge from working with older people has enabled me to offer services for mental capacity assessments, cognitive assessments and services to nursing home providers and clients.
I am able to offer clinical supervision to both organisations and to individuals; both trainees and qualified Psychologists. I currently offer supervision to Dementia UK and JAMI.
