About me

Dr Lisa Das is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Bart's and the London NHS Trust where she has the privilege to be the UK's first Community Gastroenterology Consultant. She trained at Guy's Hospital Medical School, London before completing her medical residency in Boston, USA. Subsequently she completed subspecialist training in gastroenterology at Columbia University, New York in 1997 and currently holds both Board Certification in Gastroenterology (USA) and full accreditation on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register in Gastroenterology.

Lisa has expertise and interest in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and general gastroenterology. Her current practice focuses on providing clinically excellent care with a kind, friendly approach and allows for a specific emphasis on women's gastroenterology.
