About me
Professor Alok Tiwari is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. He is also a Visiting Professor of Vascular Surgery at Birmingham City University and an Honorary Associate Professor of Vascular surgery at the University of Birmingham.
He specialises in all aspects of vascular surgery including diabetic foot management, varicose vein surgery, open and endovascular treatment for chronic limb threatening limb ischaemia (CLTI) and carotid surgery for patient with TIA/Stroke.
He organises and teaches on courses for surgeons and has been invited to give talks on varicose veins and lower limb salvage..
He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals on distal bypass for diabetic foot problems, seeding of vascular grafts and on varicose veins surgery with more than 110 publications.
