About me

Dr Antonia Creak is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of adults with central nervous system tumours. She provides both private and NHS care at The Royal Marsden.
Dr Creak qualified in 1995 from Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School, Imperial College London. Following completion of her general medical training in 1999, she trained in Clinical Oncology at Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. She gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2003 and completed specialist training in 2006.
From 2011 until June 2020, Dr Creak was a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, where she specialised in Neuro-oncology and Acute Oncology/Cancer of Unknown Primary. From 2014, she served as Clinical Lead for Acute Oncology/Cancer of Unknown Primary.
In 2020, Dr Creak was appointed Consultant Clinical Oncologist within the Neuro-oncology Unit at The Royal Marsden. She is a co-investigator on a number of national and international neuro-oncology trials. She has particular expertise in the treatment of both high- and low-grade gliomas, including specialist experience with vorasidenib through her involvement in the INDIGO trial and the UK Managed Access Programme. She is experienced in supporting patients through complex treatment decisions, including surveillance, radiotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, systemic therapy, and access to novel treatments where appropriate.
Dr Creak is known for her thoughtful, highly specialist approach to neuro-oncology care, combining evidence-based treatment with clear communication and individualised decision-making.

Areas of interest

Dr Creak specialises in the treatment of adults with CNS (brain & spinal cord) tumours. This includes primary CNS tumours such as high-grade Glioma (including Glioblastoma), low-grade Glioma, ependymoma, medulloblastoma, meningioma; She also treats brain metastases (secondary brain cancer) with Cyberknife radiosurgery. Dr Creak has a special interest in the management of high- and low-grade Gliomas. She has expertise in the use of vorasidenib in low-grade glioma management.
