About me

I am a senior respiratory consultant at South Tees NHS Trust.

I take a holistic approach to symptoms like breathlessness, cough, chest pain, sleep problems and arrive at a faster diagnosis and management of the symptoms.

I lead the Advanced Emphysema service which caters to the whole of North East and Cumbria. I treat patients with advanced emphysema with placement of valves in the air tubes to collapse parts of lung which is not working properly and make the remaining lungs work efficiently.

I lead the severe asthma services and treat asthma which is severe and uncontrolled with newer treatments which can be given as injections every 4 or 8 weeks has transformed peoples lives.

I lead the Non Invasive Ventilation service and treat people with breathing problems during their sleep by supporting them with CPAP mask.
