About me
Mr Kenneth Cheng qualified from the University of Glasgow, Medical School, in 1998. He undertook his basic surgical training in Tayside obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002. He completed his orthopaedic training in the West of Scotland and was awarded the Inter-Collegiate Specialist exam in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2010.
Mr Cheng’s clinical practise is exclusively in upper limb surgery. Mr Cheng has developed particular expertise in dealing with arthroscopic assessment and treatment of rotator cuff tears and pathology as well as the instability of the shoulder and labral tears. He also treats ‘frozen shoulders’ arthroscopically.
Other parts of his practice involve hand and wrist surgery. He is experienced in treating all aspects of hand and wrist conditions including Dupuytren’s disease (either through surgery or injection therapy), arthritis and carpal tunnel, as well as traumatic injuries such as tendon injuries and hand and wrist fractures.
