About me
I have worked as a consultant surgeon at Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh since 2008, specialising in upper gastrointestinal and laparoscopic general surgery.
My main clinical interests include oesophageal and gastric cancer, weight loss surgery, laparoscopic surgery for hiatus hernia and gastro-oesophageal reflux, laparoscopic general surgery including cholecystectomy and laparoscopic hernia repair.
I am a consultant on the busy emergency rota at the Royal Infirmary for general and upper GI surgery. I am a member of the Association of Upper GI Surgeons of GB & Ireland (AUGIS), British Hernia Society (BHS) and British Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS).
