About me
Cristian Pena, CPsychol AFBPsS, is a HCPC registered and chartered Clinical Psychologist who is an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and Colbun Psychology’s Director.
Colbun Psychology is the practice he set up in central london in 2008 and consists of an experienced multilingual team of qualified clinical psychologists and psychotherapists with vast experience in working with children, adolescents and adults.
In addition to Colbun Psychology, Cristian has worked as a clinical psychologist in a number of NHS trusts. Most recently at University College London Hospital with families and adolescents suffering from cancer. Prior work for Cristian has included working at a bereavement service in Camden & Islington NHS Trust, and in a Specialist team with adolescents presenting with psychosis, self harm and complex needs in Oxleas NHS Trust
He has also worked with adults with neurodevelopmental disorders at an Assessment and Treatment Service in Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Cristian has more than 12 years of experience in the field of human rights and works as a consultant for organisations based around the world. Cristian can support victims of political terror before, during and after any court appearances. He can provide expert witness reports and amicus for the court in cases related to torture/impunity and political terror.
Cristian worked for more than 3 years at the Medical Foundation for the care of victims of torture (Freedom from Torture), London. Prior to that he worked at the International Rehabilitation Centre for Victims of Torture, IRCT, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
