About me
I am a specialist consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon for over 8 years.I work as an NHS specialist breast & reconstructive surgeon & also in the private sector at the Spire Hull & East Riding Hospital.I see hundreds of patients with breast symptoms every year & operate on over a hundred patients with breast cancer every year.I perform implant & tissue based (latissimus dorsi flap) breast reconstruction as well as breast lifts,breast reductions etc.
Before moving to Hull I was the Clinical Lead for Breast Surgery at the Scarborough hospital where I introduced reconstructive breast surgery for the first time.
I have been the Chair of the Clinical Experts Group for Breast Cancer for North East of Yorkshire and the Humber. My NHS responsibilities at the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust include: Lead for the Family History Service, governance lead for the breast service & Clinical Information Officer.
