Worked in the community, specialist hospitals, inpatient, outpatient & day care settings; private practice for many years in East London.

Research interests

I provide a welcoming, friendly & safe service to mothers, fathers, family members alike, anyone experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties pre/during pregnancy or after birth (the perinatal phase), yet not exclusive to this period, to focus on adjustment & transitioning to parenthood, improving maternal/paternal health & wellbeing, treating trauma, anxiety disorders & depression; stress management.

As humans we can often struggle & suffer emotionally, this is a common human experience, sometimes we can resolve this alone & at other times we may benefit from some support. I'm driven to understand this & then find ways to alleviate the distress & suffering, by developing compassion, connection, courage & wisdom to regulate emotions, instilling a sense of safety & calm, using Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
