About me
I had a very long and rewarding career in the NHS, caring mainly for patients requiring major surgery for heart and lung problems. I started one of the first ever Safety in Healthcare Courses (Human Factors) back in the 1990s and lectured extensively on this subject both Nationally and Internationally. I was an examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists for ten years from 1998 to 2008. I am now solely engaged in Private Practice, caring for patients requiring anaesthesia and sedation for a wide variety of procedures.
