About me

I am an experienced Psychologist, with 23 years post-qualification experience. I specialise in ADHD Assessment for Adults (18+). I offer a supportive assessment which is personalised and includes an in depth ADHD interview and completion of online questionnaires. I will also meet with someone who knows you well if you would like them to participate in the assessment. I provide a comprehensive report and follow up appointment to discuss the outcome of the assessment. I aim to identify other difficulties you may be experiencing in addition to ADHD and to signpost you with clear ways forward for assessment, treatment and support. I will also discuss with you how any mental health problems you have, may be interacting with potential ADHD symptoms. Many conditions and difficulties overlap with ADHD, such as dyspraxia, trauma symptoms, anxiety, bi-polar disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I provide an assessment which will distinguish between these different conditions. If you receive a positive ADHD diagnosis, I will provide a letter confirming your diagnosis in addition to your report. I can refer you for medication assessment privately if appropriate.
I work with individuals (aged 18+). I have 23 years post-qualification experience working in the NHS and in Independent Practice. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to achieving positive outcomes in psychology and to achieving accurate and supportive assessments. My practice is evidence based and tailored to the needs of each person. I am an accredited EMDR (Trauma) Consultant and and am on the British Psychological Society Register of Applied Psychological Practice Supervisors. I offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee psychologists, psychotherapists and other professionals.
