About me

My medical training was at Cambridge University and Guy's Hospital Medical School. I was an ARC funded Lecturer in Rheumatology at Guy's Hospital Medical School for 4 years prior to being appointed as a consultant rheumatologist in 1988. Since then I developed and ran the rheumatology service at St. Helier Hospital and ran a General (internal) Medicine firm until 2012. I was involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students and trainee doctors for many years. I retired from the NHS in December 2021. I see patients with all types of rheumatic disease
