About me

I started my Physiotherapy career in Australia working in Rehabilitation. Two years later I became Physiotherapy Manager of a 225 bed acute hospital as well as doing a Grad Dip of Bus. I arrived in the UK and started at the Essex County Cricket in Chelmsford. Since then I have worked at the North London Nuffield and also at King's Oak Hospital as working Manager. In 2009 I established the Murphy Physiotherapy Clinic which has flourished with the support of local Consultants and GP's.

Areas of interest

Spinal and sports injuries using McKenzie and Maitland based treatments. I also use acupuncture to compliment patient treatments. Another member of the clinic does treat neurological cases using the Bobath approach. I now offer Shockwave treatments for tendonitis and related injuries.
