About me
Dr Karthik Ramasamy undertook his general medical training at Nottingham followed by early haematology training at Glasgow. He subsequently moved to London in 2002 and undertook a comprehensive haematology-training programme encompassing all sub-specialties of haematology, including bone marrow transplantation and PhD in Myeloma studies at Kings College Hospital. Karthik now works at Oxford University Hospital NHS trust and is Associate Professor of haematology, NDORMS, University of Oxford. Karthik is an Executive member of UK Myeloma forum and Board member of Myeloma UK, a patient charity. He is a Chief Investigator of UK multi-centre myeloma trials and has published more than 125 peer-reviewed articles and written chapters in haemato-oncology textbooks. Karthik is also the Cancer Specialty Lead for NIHR Thames Valley & South Midlands Clinical Research Network.
