About me
I am a skilled gynaecologist with more than 20 years experience. Alongside my clinical focus I have a strong academic career, with close involvement in training within my practice.
I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of common general gynaecological problems with a particular interest in using ultrasound as part of the clinical assessment, especially where the case involves an early pregnancy concern, pelvic pain, the possibility of an ovarian cyst or bleeding problems.
This gives the ability to provide a 'one stop' approach in many cases.
I aim to be honest, empathic, sensitive and safe. I will offer or advise treatment where necessary but will equally reassure women where no treatment is needed.
I have authored or coauthored more than 30 published scientific papers, two books and have contributed invited chapters to multiple other texts.
