About me
I am a consultant dermatologist with extensive experience in managing a wide range of skin conditions, from skin cancers to inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and urticaria.
Additionally I have experience in the treatment of Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
I am an honorary senior lecturer at Manchester University medical school, and lead for undergraduate dermatology education for Manchester University. I have a master’s degree in medical education from Imperial College, London.
My NHS (Consultant Dermatologist) post is at Salford Royal hospital; prior to moving to the Manchester area I worked as a consultant at St Mary’s hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust, London, where I was skin cancer lead. Before this, I completed my specialist training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital, London, which included a short secondment to Yale University, Connecticut, U.S.A.
