About me
Dr. Keefai Yeong is a consultant medical physician specialising in elderly care medicine.
His specialist areas include the management of falls with multifactorial assessments, bone health & osteoporosis (brittle bones) for fracture prevention, and Parkinson's disease. He works very closely with the orthopaedic surgeons and experienced therapists to optimise patients prior to theatre, manage patients in the peri-operative phase by providing regular medical input and also in the post-operative phase to restore to previous level of independence.
He qualified from Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals, London and completed my postgraduate training locally within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region. In addition to this, he has trained in various sub specialist units including the Renal Unit at the Middlesex and the Royal Marsden Hospitals. He provides a level of care that has been recognised nationally as one of the best and hasone of the lowest mortality rates for this group of frail elderly patients.
