About me
Dr Emmanuel is a Consultant in Pain medicine at East and North Hertfordshire NHS trust.
After undertaking general medicine training and completing speciality training in anaesthesia he undertook super-speciality training in a number of internationally renowned pain centres.
Dr Emmanuel completed a fellowship year in the renowned Pain Management and research institute, Royal North shore, Sydney under the mentorship of Prof Cousins and Assoc. Prof Micheal Nicholas. During this time he completed fellowship examination and developed experience in advance neuromodulation techniques such as spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal pumps.
Dr Emmanuel has presented widely in the early assessment and treatment of those who suffer with chronic low back pain. He has used his experience to advise primary care trust and general practitioners on developing patient pathways in the community.
