About me

I have been a consultant surgeon in Chester since 2010.
I undertook my surgical training in the North west and London.
I specialise in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, for bowel cancer and other conditions such as gallstones, diverticular disease, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
I undertook a training fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at the internationally renowned St Mark's Hospital in Harrow in 2009-2010. I was trained by Professor Robin Kennedy and Mr Ian Jenkins.
I also have a keen interest in laparoscopic surgery for gallstones and hernias (inguinal and incisional).
I have taken a lead role in the training of surgeons in laparoscopic surgery during my time in Chester.
I am the Trust Audit Lead in the Planned Care Division.
