I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Optegra Eye Hospital Hampshire, Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
I trained as an optometrist at Aston University and then at Essex County Hospital subsequently working as a locum to fund my medical school education. I completed surgical training around the Wessex region training at The Royal Bournemouth and QA Hospitals. I finished my retinal training at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital Melbourne Australia. I completed my MBA at the end of my surgical training. I won a national prize in my optometry examinations and prizes for the top mark in my MBA and a prize for perfomrance in medical finals as well as sedcond place twice in a national ophthalmology competition. I have been lead VR consultant at University Hospital Southampton where I have been a consultant for over 14 years. I lead a seminar on lens techniques to other consultants for the Royal College Of Ophthalmologists. My first book is due for release Autumn 2024 entitles " improving surgical skills and outcomes: a multi-perspective approach". I am happily married with Four children.
