About me

I am a General Adult Psychiatrist working privately only having worked previously as an NHS Consultant in East London for over 17 years. I have a special interest in addictions, OCD, complex PTSD, borderline personality disorder and medically unexplained symptoms. I have a lot of experience in managing mood disorders - depression and bipolar disorder and neurotic disorders - PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, generalised anxiety and stress. I have also had experience in managing people with dual diagnoses. I have recently developed an interest and expertise in managing ADHD/ADD in adults.
I work holistically, providing patient centred care, using conventional treatments aswell as meditation, mindfulness, yoga and exercise to optimise recovery
