About me

I have been a consultant colorectal and general surgeon since 2010. My sub-specialists interest is minimally invasive treatment (including robotic surgery) for bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, as well as screening colonoscopy.

I specialise in general and colorectal surgery surgery, with a specific interest in minimally invasive (key hole/robotic) treatments for bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and hernias. I also perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and regularly treat patients with perianal conditions such as piles (including THD/HALO/Rafaelo) and skin tags, anal fissure, anal fistula and pilonidal sinus.

In addition to my clinical work, I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leicester. I am also a local lead investigator for a number of national clinical trials. Outside the UK, I am involved in an endoscopy training program in Ghana.
