About me
After successfully completing a primary postgraduate degree in orthopaedics (MS), I worked as a lecturer in a teaching hospital for 2 years. I have also completed specialist training in orthopaedics and worked within the Yorkshire region for the majority of my career in England. After this I trained at the world renowned Wrightington hospital, a highly specialised tertiary referral centre for joint replacements, for one year as a hip and knee joint replacement (arthroplasty) fellow.
I maintain an interest in general orthopaedics and trauma surgery with specialist interest in hip and knee surgery. This includes hip and knee primary replacements as well as knee/hip arthroscopic surgery (key hole surgery) and Anatomic (kinematically aligned, computer navigated) knee replacement. I have special interest in revision/complex hip and knee surgery. I have keen interest in clinical research and have published several research articles in the international orthoapaedic journals.
