About me
I am a Consultant in Clinical Oncology with almost a decade of experience specialising in the treatment of all aspects of gynaecological (ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulva) and lung cancers.
My clinical research interests include the use of novel agents in ovarian and cervical cancer and small cell cancer, particularly extrapulmonary small cell.
I have a strong research background with a 1st class honours in Clinical Pharmacology and I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. I have attended ESTRO as an invited speaker and have chaired a session at the BGCS, the British national conference which I have been invited to speak at for the last few years. I am a member of the NCRI Gynaecological CSG and I chair the NCRI cervical and vulval subgroup.
I am the UK Chief Investigator of the AtTEnd trial, an international multicentre NCRI endorsed trial which is in development and Principal Investigator of multiple national trials in ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancer. I have been invited to attend ENGOT gynaecological cancer academy workshops.
I am a member of the trials management group of several trials including STATEC, CEBOC and PAZOFOS.
I am an invited member on the tumour Specific Expert Panel of the Macmillan Horizons project for Gynaecology.
I am a reviewer for the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Areas of interest
Gynaecological oncology, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vaginal and vulval cancer. Radiotherapy including brachytherapy of endometrial cancer and locally advanced cervical cancer.
