About me
Clinically trained in the United Kingdom, I have worked in the UK since 1999 at major NHS Teaching Hospitals in Cambridge, Newcastle, Nottingham and Leicester.
I specialise in inflammatory skin diseases including psoriasis, dermatitis, and acne. In addition I have specialist expertise in skin cancers including basal cell cancer (BCC), squamous cell cancer (SCC) and malignant melanoma. I also have a special interest in the diagnosis and management of various types of hair loss (e.g. alopecia).
I offer day light photodynmic therapy for solar keratoses and sun damaged skin and diphencyprone immunotherapy for alopecia areata and viral warts.
In the University Hospitals of Leicester I led the regional NHS alopecia service (including Diphencyprone immunotherapy for Alopecia Areata condition). Furthermore I led Phototherapy service and the Dermato-Oncology clinic.
