Mr Cervellione is an international recognised expert for genital and urological paediatric and adolescent reconstruction.

His main clinical interest is the Bladder Exstrophy Complex and Epispadias and he leads the Department of Paediatric Urology and the Bladder Exstrophy Unit at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Mr Cervellione has 12 years consultant experience in the medical and surgical management of paediatric urological conditions.

Mr Cervellione is the clinical lead in the department of paediatric urology at the Royal Manchester Childrenâ€™s Hospital and he is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Human Development School of Biomedicine, University of Manchester. Mr Cervellione leads the Nationally commisioned Exstrophy service in Manchester.

Personal interests

Married with 3 children, Mr Cervellione enjoys running, cycling and swimming. He has completed the Lanzarote Ironman 70.3 in 2014.

Mr Cervellione has published over 60 articles in major international scientific journals and presented more then 80 abstracts in the UK, Europe and United States. Mr Cervellione is a regular reviewer for Journal of Paediatric Urology, Journal of Urology and British Journal of Urology for bladder exstrophy, varicocele and general paediatric urology. He is FRCS Urology examiner and treasurer of the British Association of Paediatric Urology 2014-2020.
