About me

I undertook basic undergraduate and postgraduate training in Ophthalmology from India. I underwent training in Midlands and higher surgical training at Liverpool. I further developed his sub-specialty interest in Medical retina and uveitis by undergoing specialised fellowship at Cardiff and Bristol Eye Hospital.
I am a substantive Consultant at Mid Yorks NHS Trust, Wakefield and I am the service lead for patients with macular diseases.

I am particularly well qualified, having carried out more than 3000 intravitreal injections for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion and other retinal conditions.

Additionally I have performed in excess of 2000 cataract operations using phacoemulsification.
