About me
Dr Mohammed is the Cardiology Clinical Director and the lead for Echocardiography and Cardiac Imaging at St Helens and Whiston hospitals.
During his training Dr Mohammed took more focused subspeciality training in Echocardiography and cardiac imaging. He completed the Mersey Deanery Training Programme in Cardiology and General Medicine.
He is an established consultant cardiologist with extensive experience in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. In addition to general cardiology he is especially interested in cardiac imaging in providing accurate assessment for cardiac abnormalities. He is an active member in cardiac imaging professional societies.
Dr Mohammed has long standing experience with cardiac conditions such as angina, heart failure, valve heart disease, atrial fibrillation. He is also experienced with cardiac risk assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery, ‘Healthy Heart’ checks up for cardiovascular disease screening and primary prevention advice.
