About me

Mr Ben Eddy was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon at Kent and Canterbury Hospital in June 2010 to set up Robotic Surgery for the surgical treatment of men with prostate cancer in Kent. He qualified from Guy and St Thomas’ Medical school, London and trained in and around leading hospitals in the London region. He has a specialist interest in uro-oncology focusing on minimally invasive techniques for the surgical treatment of Urological Cancers. He embarked on a 15 month international fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia specialising in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery and has done clinical visits to leading robotic centres in Australia and the USA. To date he has experience of around 1500 cases and is a recognised national trainer for Da Vinci robotic prostate surgery.
Mr Eddy also treats general urological conditions including benign prostatic enlargement (BPH), andrology, erectile dysfunction, urological stone disease, urinary tract infections (UTI’s), haematuria (blood in the urine) and inguinal and scrotal surgery including vasectomy.
