About me

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon sub-specialising in the management of complex fractures, and primary hip and knee replacement surgery.

I trained in South Wales, Birmingham and Coventry, before competing a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Trauma Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.

I have previously worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Complex Orthopaedic Trauma and Limb Salvage Surgery, at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, between 2009 and 2016.

My current NHS practice is based at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen and Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. My current private practice is based at BMI Werndale Hospital, Bancyfelin, Carmarthenshire.

My specialist areas of interest are primary hip and knee replacement surgery, and the management of complex fractures and orthopaedic injuries, and their complications, including non-union, infection and metalwork problems.
