About me
Mr Mirza FRCS FRCOphth is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon based in Worcstershire and Birmingham. He practices out of Spire South Bank Hopsital in Worcester, Optegra Hospital & BMI Priory Hospital in Birmingham. His areas of interest are retinal & macular diseases including age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions. He performs topical (without injection) phacoemulsification cataract surgery, with one of lowest complication rates (audited).
He provides a choice of monofocal or extended range of intraocular lenses to provide excellent correction your vision for distance and near.
He performs other procedures such as injection treatments for macular oedema such as Lucentis, Eylea and Ozurdex steroid implants . He specializes in Argon laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy & YAG laser for posterior capsular opacification.
