About me
I was appointed a consultant anaesthetist with a specialist interest in Orthopaedics in 2009. I have developed my expertise in this area since, including being a member of national Task Group to bring Enhanced Recovery in Orthopaedic Surgery to NHS Lothian and Scotland. I am one of the founding anaesthetists of the Scottish National Spine Deformity Service. In addition to this, I am an expert in Anaesthesia for Emergency Surgery and again was involved in setting up the national Emergency Laparotomy and Laparoscopic Surgery Audit (ELLSA) for Scotland.
