About me
Prof Sun Myint was appointed as a Clinical Scientist at MRC Cyclotron Unit in 1993. He introduced Papillon Contact radiotherapy for rectal cancer in the UK and set up the first unit at Clatterbridge in 1993. He has treated over 1500 patients over 24 years. He was elected as President of International Contact Radiotherapy Society(ICONE) at Rome in May 2013. He was awarded Hon. Professor in Gastroenterology Dept in University of Liverpool in Dec 2012.
